PROFESSIONAL DONEE PACKAGE
— What if something happens to you and ...
If you can't manage your life, who can step in?
Your money, your care, the people who depend on you — someone has to step in. You've already run through the names. None of them felt right.

THE PROBLEM
Both of your options felt wrong
When you ran through those names, you probably hit one of these:
No one you'd fully trust
OR
Someone you could ask, but shouldn't
Single, family far away, or no one equipped to manage money and make hard decisions on your behalf.
Handing a family or friend control is a real burden and it can spark conflict at the worst possible time.
No one ends up with authority to act.
A heavy burden, and a potential source of conflict.
So most people do nothing — which means no one has the authority to help you, and your family has to go to court to get that authority. Slow, expensive, and avoidable.
There's a third option
THE THIRD OPTION
Let a professional handle it instead
You don't have to choose between someone you don't trust and someone you'd rather not burden.
You can appoint a professional.
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) lets you choose, in advance, who steps in if you lose mental capacity — most name a family member or friend.
A Professional Donee is a registered, regulated professional you name instead — trained, accountable, and legally bound to act in your interest. They carry the responsibility, so no one you love has to.
THE GAP
But the usual way to appoint
a Professional Donee is broken
Because a professional donee is an external party, not family. The conventional setup looks like this:
PART 1
LPA Form 2
A customised, legally binding form, drafted by a lawyer, to appoint them as your donee.
+
PART 2
Letter of Wishes
Added to fill the gaps the form can't cover — the “how” and “why” behind your decisions.
In theory, that covers everything
In practice, both halves work against you
LPA FORM 2 IS RIGID
Expensive & Inflexible
A lawyer drafts it — so it costs more than the standard form.
Updating it means re-drafting and re-certifying the whole thing.
TRADITIONAL LETTER OF WISHES IS INADEQUATE
Static and General
Static
Done once and any change means going back to the provider.
Lacks depth
Little guidance, so it ends up thin and general.
Depth costs
Real scenario analysis means paying for hours of the provider's time.
Neither is good enough for something this important
THE SOLUTION
So Immortalize & Emre Legal built a better way

Professional donee services have always been seen as expensive and out of reach.
We're changing that.
EMRE LEGAL
Regulated legal authority
The licensed, accountable professional on record.
+
Immortalize
Automated guidance with depth
Thorough coverage of your wishes — without the high fees.
Low Seow Ling
Managing Director, Emre Legal LLC
Protection that's accessible, simpler to set up, and built to adapt as your life changes — not a document that goes stale the day it's signed.
Everyone I act for deserves to be treated exactly as they'd treat themselves — with dignity and on their own terms. That standard shouldn't be a luxury.

What makes this package different
Two changes to the conventional approach — one to the legal form and one to how you capture your wishes.
1
THE CHANGE
Form 1 instead of Form 2
We use the standard LPA Form 1 — simpler, cheaper, quicker — and carry your detailed instructions in a non-legally binding Letter of Wishes instead. Same guidance for your donee, without the Form 2 cost or rigidity.
2
THE UPGRADE
The Letter of Wishes generator, instead of a blank page
This fixes the problem with conventional Letter of Wishes:
Guided — structured prompts walk you through what matters.
Comprehensive — surfaces things you'd never think to write, across care, finances, dependants, end-of-life, and legacy.
Affordable — the tool does the heavy lifting, so you're not paying for unnecessary hours of a lawyer's time.
Always current — lives online and updates anytime your life changes.
You arrive at Seow Ling's office with her already knowing your situation and what you need resolved. Go straight into productive conversations from day one, instead of spending time and money on fact-finding.

Before you need it. An LPA can only be made while you still have mental capacity. Miss that window, and the choice is no longer yours — it falls to the court.
Decide while the decision is still yours.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a professional donee actually legal and regulated?
Yes. Low Seow Ling is a registered Professional Deputy and Donee with Singapore's Office of the Public Guardian, and Emre Legal LLC is a licensed law practice. The appointment is made through a Lasting Power of Attorney recognised under the Mental Capacity Act.
Can I change my mind or revoke it later?
Yes. While you still have mental capacity, an LPA can be updated or revoked at any time. Your Letter of Wishes lives online and can be edited whenever your life changes.
Why choose a professional over a family member?
A professional is trained, accountable, and legally bound to act in your interest — and it spares the people you love from a heavy, conflict-prone responsibility at the worst possible time.
What happens if Immortalize or Emre Legal stops operating?
Your LPA and documents are legal instruments that exist independently of any private platform. Your appointment and records remain valid, and your Letter of Wishes can be exported at any time.
Is my personal information kept private?
Yes. Your details and wishes are stored and shared only with the people you authorise — your donee and the contacts you nominate.
